How do you feel about the election of  the first black
president of the  United States of America?

It will have an immense impact on me. I will be the most proud person in America. And, being black, it will be an accomplishment. We’ve wanted a black president for years and a lot of people didn’t think they’d be around to see [it].

david-harris.jpg Well, as the father of an 8-year-old, it’s one of the most remarkable things. Certainly for my son, I think to see a black man in the White House and a black family as a first family is a significant event. It means a lot to me.

denise-porche.jpg First, I want to say that [Barack] Obama is absolutely qualified. Besides that, I am absolutely elated that we have the opportunity to see the first black president. As a black head of household, it’s huge for me and my children.

djanine-daveiga.jpg It’s empowering, defining who we really are. It will make people see us for who we really are and what we are capable of doing.

latoya-nelson.jpg I think it’s phenomenal and it’s about time. There’s still racism going on in certain aspects of the word, so for a black president to be in here is amazing.

shima-jackson.jpg I think we’re way overdue, actually. It’s about time someone of color is elected to the office of the presidency.

Always and Forever shall this event be the spiritual idol for our families and children of all nationalities.  God was the force and people came out and represented that force.

It was time for change a long time ago but racism, ignorance and outright evil reared their ugly heads.

The very groups that the above adjectives stemmed from and promoted, saw their own people deviating and standing up to the truth of the matter,  It's time for change!

Around the world, the wish to see President elect Obama win was outstanding and remarkable, imagine that.  Our continued struggles to fight the power of demeaning actions toward us as though we were just helpless and unbelonging aliens, just proved that our work to eradicate racism and promote equality towards an undivided nation and justice for all is working!  We must keep on.

I pray that our males and females, young and mature shall aim to represent this winning victory in a most positive light.  Please, We should make the best of education and respect one another.

Stop allowing drugs, guns, hatred, ignorance, and all evildoing to be the driving forces and subjection of our downfalls

We are back to the democratic party and we need to move forward!  President Barack Obama just represented, all of us, all nations!
