Yvette Sanchez Fuentes, director of the U.S. Office of Headstart, shares a meal and a  laugh with children at Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) programs during a recent visit to the Boston area. Fuentes visited the ABCD South End and Chinese Church Head Start centers at 100 Shawmut Ave. and praised the work of ABCD Head Start in fulfilling national initiatives such as the “I Am Moving, I Am Learning” to combat childhood obesity, and improve health and well-being for low-income children and familes.
